The space was converted into two distinct outdoor rooms offering many visual surprises and united by a stone pedestal walkway across an elegant Koi pond complete with Lotus plants. The first room, leading from the home, offers a sweeping view due to its raised wooden deck used for dining. Surrounded by a stone wall, lush plantings help buffer the eye from the exterior fencing.
The second room offers a relaxing seating area surrounding a gas outdoor firepit, perfect for conversations in the cool California nights. The space is enhanced by festive overhead string lights and glowing, ambient lighting that accentuates the pond and bamboo privacy screen.
“The finished product is stunning. We love spending time in our new garden paradise.”

“Even minimal spaces can be turned into something enchanting. In this case we had a small area but were inspired to make the most of it. The result is an inviting space that lives much larger than it did before and feels organic with its combination of wood, stone, water, and plantings. Plus, it looks fabulous.”
