"I am sitting looking out at my beautiful garden, with all the lovely autumnal colors, and I felt that I must write to thank you both. As I mentioned to you back in June when you completed the work, I am extremely pleased with how the whole project came together.
If you remember, it was the day before Thanksgiving when we first met you. You spent that entire wet and windy day with us, sketching out a plan and chatting with us so that you had a very clear picture of who we are, and what would work for us. We had such a good time turning those plans into reality. You both became firm friends, and I learnt a lot from you, and your philosophy on life. The thing I most appreciated during the whole process was that I never felt stressed. Everything was explained ahead of time, and there were no unpleasant surprises.
You really have a wonderful talent Rhadiante, you understood exactly what I wanted. The garden is virtually maintenance free, so I can sit back, relax and enjoy. I have received many wonderful compliments from friends and neighbors. So, once again, thank you."

"My family wholeheartedly recommends Van de Voorde Elemental Design Group. In 2006 we were nearly the last of the neighbors to landscape our new construction home in Almaden Valley. Its not that we are cheap, we just didn’t want to build a back yard unless the design was absolutely stunning. Three designers (& related fees) later we had Rhadiante in our kitchen, drawing an outdoor living space that was truly magical for our family. Several weeks (and a few family meetings) later Rhadiante had captured that magic for construction in 6 layers of detailed blueprints. No question in our mind we were getting the magic we were paying for.
The resulting space is well-constructed down to the last detail. And best of all, our neighbors (who worked with other designers) describe our outdoor living space as ‘a real work of art.’ If you want to capture magic in your outdoor space, you should definitely call Rhadiante."

"Elemental Design Group just finished redoing our front and back yards. Rhadiante’s design included a handsome new walkway and stone wall in our front yard and curved bluestone steps from the lower patio area to the raised garden area of our backyard. Rhadiante is truly an artist, with creative and beautiful ideas for solving the particular problems of our yard and staying within our budget.
During construction, Neil was at our house every day, supervising a small crew comprising himself and a few others. He did a brilliant job bringing Rhadiante’s design to life, including building a set of lovely dry-stack-looking (but mortared for stability) bluestone steps and shaping and placing other bluestones for pathways. He also devised a low-voltage lighting switching system tailored to our needs.
Both Rhadiante and Neil were wonderful to work with. They paid attention to each plant and every detail of the project, were flexible when we wanted to make small changes mid-construction, and consulted us every step of the way. We’re thrilled with the result. And they haven’t disappeared now that the project is finished. They seem genuinely interested in making sure our garden thrives and grows into the beautiful and interesting low-water, low-maintenance space we desired."
